I was nervous the day before the competition because I don’t want all our effort wasted and also because I don’t want disappoint our past seniors who have all worked so hard to make PCGHS choir what it is today. But fortunately, we won and this is the 5th consecutive year we won since us F5s were Form 1. The two seniors who came today were our F5 seniors when we were in F1. And I was glad that we didn’t disappoint them at all.

Hey guys! Competition day is tomorrow! Please remember to sleep earlier today by 11pm. Do not scream or shout or waste your energy. ‪#‎SOV‬ Just relax. And remember to pack everything in your bag. We will meet at the bilik syarahan tomorrow at 11am. Please be punctual.

Don’t forget to look through your scores today. Remember the dynamics, phrasing and other technical stuff teacher said. But do not forget to have energy when you sing. When we sing, it is important to understand the lyrics and have emotion when you sing. Enjoy yourself! Do not be too nervous. We have practiced for so long already so we should not be too nervous. But, we also must not be overly confident.

Hey guys! To those (Form 1, 2, 3) who are not joining the competition but have the choir uniform (the polka dot one), can you please return it tomorrow at 12.45pm at the first floor of the block 98? Xin Yi will be there waiting for you guys. You MUST return it tomorrow or else some of the competition people will not have the uniforms to wear. Givian can you return yours tomorrow too because you are having Jane’s uniform. We’ll find another one for you. To those who have gotten their dress please comment below.

Hey guys!! So… we did it!! Yay!! Haha.. all the effort you guys put in has paid off. I am so proud of each and every single one of you. Thanks for putting in so much effort into making this performance a success! After ending the performance with you guys, I cannot believe this will be the last concert performance with you bunch of weirdos.. haha.. (it is a compliment). The laughter, the tears and the sweat was all worth it.

Next week will be another big day for us, the competition. We can do it IF we put our heart and soul into it. Just another two more days of practice and we’ll go up on the same stage to sing our hearts out. In the meantime, please practice those technical stuff and phrasing. Look through your score and watch out for the dynamics.

Hey guys! Tomorrow’s the day!!! I’m so excited!! Haha.. I know you guys too. Just want to wish you guys good luck for tomorrow’s performance. Tomorrow when you are performing, I hope you guys will enjoy every second on the stage, so that you will not regret it when you graduate. Remember all those technical stuff teacher taught us but the most IMPORTANT THING to do is to HAVE FUN!! Singing is OUR hobby, so we should just enjoy it and put emotion into our singing. I would advise you guys to look through the scores and understand the meaning of the lyrics.
