PCGHS CONCERT 27/7/2019

Hey!!! We did it!! Thanks the effort you guys put in has paid off. I am so proud of each and every single one of you. Thanks for putting in so much effort, soul and heart into making this performance a success! After ending the performance with you guys, I cannot believe this concert performance was excellent!!!

Girls, don’t be lazy after performance. Even after performance we still need to practice our technical stuff and we still have practice after School Concert to increase our efficiency. We must get champions next year. WE CAN DO IT!!! PCGHS CHOIR CAN DO IT!!!

We did great last night! And I am very very proud of you guys!! Have a good rest and good luck in your exams.

Choir Practice 2019 27/5, 28/5, 29/5

Jul 29th 2019Learning Experience

Last May’s school holidays, we had a combined practice on the 27th, 28th, 29th of May 2019 at the Auditorium. The practice started from 9 a.m to 3 p.m.

During the practice we had learn Rasa Nusatara’s dance with our Dance Teacher, Aida. She is a very creative and talented teacher. She has a lots of knowledge about the song Canggung, Embun Sok Sek, Ketipak Ketipung and Endang. Moreover, our vocal teacher, Mdm. Khoo Hooi Lay also dance together with us to motivate the student. Furthermore, our dance teacher, Aida also told us that our body need to be 45 Degrees and we need to bounce while we dance. Teacher Aida is only spending two hours practice with us for every section. After that, we continue to practice our 茶山云雾 and our vocal teacher, Mdm. Khoo Hooi Lay correct our  mistake from the song.

On 29th May 2019, there are Singapore Student came to our school to visit our choir club, we sing 茶山云雾 and dance Rasa Nusatara to them. They corrected our mistake and taught us some singing strategy to improve our songs. For example, such as we need to sing with our emotion in our song and the pronunciation must be clear and correct.

Everyone is patiently listen to Mdm. Khoo Hooi Lay.

Gotong-Royong 2019

Hey guys! Last Saturday 20/7 we were having a Gotong-Royong at the Garden Behind Stadium call Taman Sains from 9.00-10.30a.m. and everyone meet at stadium before 9.00a.m.

In future please remember to bring gloves to pluck grass if you are allergic and remember to bring plastic bag for rubbish. Moreover, kindly inform Choir AJK before the activity for those who are not able to come or will be late for any other reason. People who are not attend the activity must give letter within three days after the activity.

I wish everyone can attend the gotong-royong next time because many hands make light work.
